Your healthcare concierge’s sole task is to coordinate any and all of your healthcare needs from the ER to the OR. This means scheduling your visits with doctors and specialists, as well as any procedures and treatments that you need to speed up your recovery and manage your pain.
In most cases, your first visit will be to your primary care physician or PCP, who will prescribe a course of physical therapy if necessary that lasts around 2 weeks or longer. Should your injury require more specialized care, you will be referred to the relevant medical specialists you need. If these specialists prescribe it, you will undergo more advanced diagnostic procedures such as a CT scan or MRI to get the best idea of how to treat your injury.
